anyone ever take out the factory oil pressure sending unit? It is at the back of the block horizontally right? Are the threads regular pipe thread or is it metric pipe thread?
I'm not using this sending unit right now so I was going to replace it with an Autometer so I can hook up a guage to it. Or is there some other way you guys are putting aftermarket guages on?
Thanks
Frank

I connected a sending unit for a 2nd oil pressure gauge to the fitting right above the oil filter. That's where the C5s have tap in for oil temp. Just drill out and tap it for 1/8-27 NPT. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
