it'll be a lot louder. just go with one in the I-pipe. for what it's worth, i've heard gains of up to 20hp if you use flowmaster and as little as 3hp if you use GMMG.

I just put my cut out on this week after the Y in the little pocket under the passenger side rear seat. It looks like it was made for a cut out under the car. I also have a chokemaster and my car's responsiveness and sound were greatly improved....

I'd like to put a couple cutouts just a little after the headers on my car...

Nice and loud... 99% of open headers...

I'm thinking that's where the cat is supposed to be, if you were a good, law-abiding citizen

Nope, simply where the seat is. The cats on LS1's are up front more in the stock location, we even have the bump in our floor panels on the passenger side from the LT1 cat placement.

Well I just went from 1 to 2. I got QTP headers with the dual cutout Y pipe. It is ungodly loud. It was really loud before... But now it sounds wicked. I also went with a bigger cam. I will not be able to compare power diff, as I did other work also.

But with the 1 in I pipe. I gained 5hp opened.
Now I can see what 2 will do opened and closed.
