Worth buying air tubes for 2000 mac install?
I have read somewhere that one guy bent the old tubes to make it fit.
I already purchased the correct EGR tube, but I would hae to spend ~$100 on air tubes if I can get away with bending the current ones. Are the tubes easy to bend? Any special tools needed? Any thoughts.
Thanks.

<strong> yea, they're easy. Just put them in a vice and bend. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">i'm going to be doing this in the next week, i'll post on how easy/hard it was.
..just a thought ....You may want to try heating the pipe with a propane blow tourch before you bend it. ...this works for bending a copper tube plumping ...so it should work here...
Silly question:
Am I going to simply "twist" the tube 90 degrees?
or
Should I "bend" a 90 degree elbow into it?
I hope that question makes sense!
I am asking becuase I wonder if "twisting" it to fit may snap the tube.
Thanks!
