Default Lou's short stick

I was wondering if i put the short stick in correctly. I have a stock hurst and it comes almost down to the council when you have it in the three lower gears. Anyone have one of these?
Thanks
Tim

should be installed with so that the slight bend in the stick bends towards the front of the car. If I remember correctly mine got pretty close to the console as well in 2 4 and 6 as well.

You installed it correctly, It does seem to "almost" hit the edge of the "square" of the M6 opening of the console. Ans since it is radically different from the stock stick you are used to, it seems that it is too close. But trust me after a day or so...you cannot believe how much better it will be!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

the slight bend is toward the rear of the car. It feels like i am gonna hit it, but not quite, but its short as hell and my favorite part is that it feels like a muscle car now with the notchey feel insdead of that rubber crap.

The bend is toward the rear of the car and the sticker on the stick face the driver when installed is that correct.
