Default SLP Off road Y-Pipe and clearance????

I have SLP Longtubes and an Off Road Y-Pipe, and have absolutely no clearance. Not really complaining since I knew this would happen when I bought the headers.

But what I'm wondering, has anybody flattened their Y-Pipe so it tucked a little better? The stock y-pipe has an oval shape, and the aftermarket y-pipe is just 3 inch pipe so I understand why it hangs lower. I dont see how it would have adverse affects on the performance. The pipe is flatter, but it would be wider too so it should flow the same.

I tried searching and couldnt find any good threads. So, anybody with any prior experience or new ideas, feel free to chime in.

Thanks

I would say try a pace setter Y, They seem to be the ones that tuck best. As far as flow Im not sure.
