I would suggest the 8.5 MSD's. they are proven. the Thundervolts are 10.0mm wire and would probably be more prone to touching the headers in some cases. I have both kinds, so I am going to be neutral to either really. I like the MSD's better if I had to pick.

8.5's will put you where you want to be. Trust me. They will work fine. You wont lose power.

out of those choices id go msd. however myself i prefer the gm wires. 89017279 the OE for the zo6's but have proven time and time again to work flawlessly and dont have connection issues liek the msd's or the tearing that the taylors do

MSD's, 2 of my Taylor's broke on me. There are several threads about it on here.

I have had the Taylor Thundervolt wires for 3 years now and have not had a single problem out of them. (knocks on wood) On and off multiple times and they are still at 27-29 ohms of resistance. My vote goes to the Taylors.

I have the Thundervolts on the C5 and Mustang with socks on them and I have had zero problems.

If header clearance is an issue, another choice is the Taylor Sprio Pro 8.5mm.

taylors 10.4s work with my pacesetters, dont touch at all.. i think the extra thickness helps because they dont flex much when connected and theyre all evenly spaced between the primaries... on the passenger side, one wire is about a 1/4 in from the egr (which is disconnected of course) thing on the headers but thats it.. basically.. take your pick..
