I like the auto button (don't know if QTEC selling it yet, but you can get one) I launch with it closed and immediately open it going down the track. I get about 3-4mph with the cutout open in the 1/4.

<strong> headers would be louder to you, because they would be under your seat. But outside the car, its gotta be about equal. I have 3" ORY and 3.5" I pipe with that cutout and I have to keep it close to avoid migranes. It's really rough. It shakes the car. Smells like hydrocarbons. Nice!

[QB] I just had my car dynoed today with the QTEC closed, then open. I picked up 12 RWHP and 9 RWTQ. There was *zero* loss at low RPMs, so I don't see why you would care to launch closed/open later, but that is just based on my dyno graph.
