PCV on 2002??

PCV on 2002?? Is the PCV on my car (2002 Z28) right up front near the throttle body?? There is a hose that comes from the back of the engine on the passenger side and runs between the valve covers and intake manifold and then connects to the manifold right behind the TB. The hose disconnects about 3 inches away from where it connects to the manifold and looks like something is in the hose. Is that the PCV?? Hope thats a good description.
