going for LOUD got a question....I have stock headers, with a cat. of course its the stock 2.5" pipe I believe. I want my car LOUD..mainly cuz I love its so loud, and most people dont like it so there fore they dont ask me for rides 
i hate moochers. but if I cut the cats off of the stock headers, is it going to sound like *** till i get my new Hooker LT's? if it will sound pretty good, then im gonna do it, but if its gonna be horrid and popping alot, im not gonna do it and ill just wait till I get my long tubes. either way thanks for the info!

I've got a loud mouth setup with no cats and stock manifolds and I love it! Its loud, all the ladys at work hate it, but I have yet to hear anyone say it sounds like sh*t though!
It sounds like a bullet muffler is what you need!

If you want it loud, then a loudmouth 1 is for you
As for the popping it only happens when it's cold and you get off the gas quickly

thats the route i plan to go this summer, and cant wait. and the best part about loudmouth is the fact that if you dont like the way it sounds with an ory the either get cats or install it with about 4 or 5 different mufflers. go for it!
