Re: Anyone interested in pre-made true dual setup?
I would be interested.
There are a few things that would be a must for me to buy a dual set-up...
Mandrel bent. (of course)
At least 2.5" pipes. (Maybe 3" to the axle and 2.5" afterwards)
Both pipes traveling down the right side where the I is stock.
The over axle pipes both going over the right side of the axle.
The tail pipes centered perfectly. (most exhaust systems have off center tips for some reason... I had an exhaust shop center mine perfectly)
My .02

I'd like to beable to have something other than Bullet mufflers. I know it'll be hard to do but I had those for a little bit on my last car (80 Z28 w/ ZZ4) and I didn't like the way it sounded so I just dumped it and it's cool for a race car but not for a daily driver, especially with the whole car vibrating at 2500 rpm

Re: Anyone interested in pre-made true dual setup?
I would also be interested in an over the axle system.
Ratio411's comments were good; also thing about SFC's...most modded cars run a SFC which may have different routing issues if they are the DD or SLP type. Same for Drive shaft loops. Last thing would be a x or h balance pipe built in.
Keep us posted here.

Anyone interested in pre-made true dual setup?
A friend of mine and I are currently working on two true dual setups...one over the axle and one that dumps before the axles. Just curious on how many people would be interested in purchasing a pre-made mandrel bent system if they could. And...does anyone else offer either of these setups for the f-bods???

Re: Anyone interested in pre-made true dual setup?
I would like:
1. the ability to connect to LT headers (FLPs)
2. the ability to put in some small Muffs after the axles, right before the tips...
3. pipes at least 2.75 inch diameter....

I'd be interested in 2.5-2.75 in, mandrel bent, over axle.

I would even just pay for the 3 inch mandrel bent tubing with Xpipe and put whatever mufflers I wanted in the package (XR1's, Bullets, XS etc.)
Cheers,

Re: Anyone interested in pre-made true dual setup?
We've made at least 30+ true dual systems here locally. 2.5" - 3" - and one 3" over the axle. We're working on a shippable product, but with all the headers out there now, we want to be exact - and offer it for all of them.
Over the axle is a whole new ballgame, and not easy - but possible.
Our web-site has pics and sound clips in the Performance section under F-bods.
We use Dr. Gas junctions and all mandrel bends.

I am definitely interested in dual over the axle setups with X-pipe. It MUST be three inch mandrel bent though. Where have you been putting the mufflers?
Cheers,
Chris

I'm interested...also needs to be over the axle and I'd like the mufflers to be placed right before the tips.(at the bumper)

Re: Anyone interested in pre-made true dual setup?
I'm very interested.
I want 2.5" mandrel bent over the axle, both on the same side as stock and then mufflers before the tips.
Maybe the best thing to do is sell the system without any mufflers and let the installer splice in the mufflers? That way you could do bullets or regular mufflers.

Re: Anyone interested in pre-made true dual setup?
i would be very interested to have them go straight from header all the way out the back - 2 seperate pipes no muffs no cats....
no worries they would have to go over axle though, all that sound right under me might be a little too loud....
