I was just wondering if the fast toys ram air upgrade is worth it. i have the cold air flow pack and this says it will get me more out of it? or is this just a waste of money?

 

you most likely WILL see gains as it is a much better ram air system than the SLP, but it probably won't be more than 5hp. it's up to you if 5hp is worth ~$200-$250.

i know i will be getting the fast toys system as i have a firebird formula so a ram air is a must and i think this would be the best one to invest in. i don't mean to hijack the thread but does anyone know where to find an install writeup on the fast toys ram air system?

 

i already have the flow kit i just didnt know if i should upgrade it?

 

not worth it, there are better things to spend your money on

 

installunversity.com has a detailed write up. I have the full setup. all the fast will do is lengthen the SLP. it mounts with front spoiler.
