I have run them in a Y-pipe (after the PPC LT Headers). They do quiet the exhaust down when running the Y-pipe open (compared to the open y-pipe without cats.).

I guess you could install just one in your intermediate pipe, but I don't know how effective that would be as far as emissions goes... they put the cats up close to the engine to keep them HOT.

So ... yes, they should take the edge off on your LoudMouth. Jeese ... that sounds insulting, eh?

I have the RT 700000's on my car with Kook's LT headers and loudmouth catback. They take the rasp out of the exhaust but keep it VERY LOUD. It's got a great idle rumble and at WOT it sounds SICK! I belong to (LIFBA) Long Island F Body Association, and already 3 or 4 guuys are getting this combination, the sound is amazing, you'll love it.

Oh and they flow real good to just look at my dyno numbers

With Muffex 'cat' bypass pipes, rasp is just plain UGLY <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> .
Some say it's the pipe material doing it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> .

I put a 700000 in the drivers side Muffex down-pipe & put the stock pass-side cat back on and there is still some rasp...

I think rasp is either from the 'ball' connections, [Muffex is same as MACs 'ball' connection] or , a really free-flowing 'catless' type exhaust flow. At a flow rate of 560cfm these 700000 cats flow like an offroad pipe...

I'm working on putting a 700000 cat in the pass-side Muffex downpipe, should be done next week...

Got them for $222 each <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> on the internet..

I don't think that they are emission legal, as NO 'stamping numbers' on the cat like the stampings you see on ALL other Random cats...

I really don't think that anyone would belive that these litte things are 'cats'... You WILL burn, if you touch them, even for a split second, like a real cat, [just had too try, ouchhh], & NO raw gas smells, like being 'catless'. So they should pass emission testing. I will find out in August, when I'm due for state emission testing.

65 days until my local track reopens for 700000 cat testing. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I will have the QTP (Grott) headers and loudmouth with a custom y-pipe from Mufflex.
I want to make sure there will be NO rasp

thanx
