Restrictor Plate SLP Dual/Dual Exhaust ?
OK, I posted that I was not getting any flow from the left side of my SLP Dual/Dual exhaust. Everybody that posted a reply said somthing was wrong, then someone posted that there was a restrictor plate on the left (driver) side of the exhaust. So I called SLP and they confirmed this. So I went to a muffler shop and told them to remove it. They tell there is no plate in it. I then took it to chevy dealer, they told me it is designed that way. Does not seem right to me. Why have a Dual Exhaust if it does not flow from both sides. HELP !!!!!!

Re: Restrictor Plate SLP Dual/Dual Exhaust ?
There were some early SLP Dual/Duals that had a plate over one side of the exhaust. The newer ones don't. How old is your system?
I wouldn't worry about it, personally. If it bugs you, you could always replace the muffler itself with a current Dual/Dual muffler, or even a Hooker muffler (it would be a lot cheaper, and the tailpipes are in the same places).
