1-3/4" headers or 1-7/8"?

1-3/4" headers or 1-7/8"? Im new to the car world and I'm not sure if putting 1-7/8" longtube headers on a stock ls1 would be too big and if the loss of low end torque would outweigh the hp gain. Should I just stick with the 1-3/4"??

1 3/4" is more than big enough for a stock motor and is still plenty for heads and cam. If you were going to run N20, I might think of doing stepped 1 3/4 to 1 7/8. I think you will lose some low end TQ with the 1 7/8..
