advice about taking off intake
i am going to take my intake off so i can get ti painted but if anyone has some good hints or advice about it so i have no surprises. all sugestions welcome!

when you re-install it, put the rear bolts into the manifold before you slide it back there... you cant get them in from under the cowl.

Be sure if you put the FAST intake on, you change the valley cover bolts. The stock valley cover bolts WILL bust through the bottom of the FAST intake plastic.
Also I suggest if you take off the LS1 intake, you just get an LS6, paint it before you put it on and pick up a few HP while adding Bling.
