Default Hooker Header o2 sensor Clearance issues

Anyone have clearance issues with the o2 sensor? I raised the fuel lines and cut the heat shield. Not sure if this is enough.

Hopefully It will be, not a whole lot you can do now. Why didn't you get the Pacesetters where they put the O2's on the CORRECT side? There's a reason why 500,000 people recommend them for anyone looking for mild steel headers.

The only thing you can do is try to keep the wires from getting burned.

i moved mine to the inside and use the outside ones for my wideband

I had the same issue...all I did was cut the heat shield and folded the tab away from the sensor, it worked out okay for me. Yours seems to be a bit closer than mine was though. Hope it works out for you,

Mine have been on my 2001 Camaro SS for over 4 years, no problems at all. I do not like the setup pioneered by Jet-Hot (O2 on the inside). Your harness will be fine with what you did to clear them, hell I did not even cut my sheild, nor relocate the fuel lines.
