I like them. Went in real easy. Only thing to watch for is drivers side primary tube touching the k-member.

I went from 13.6@103 to 13.0@109. That is in my full weight vert. I love my Jet Hot's. Their customer service does leave something to be desired though.......

I've got the Jet Hot LT's on my '01 Z28. Install was a breeze on the headers, and the fit/finish of the headers are very good except for the location of the collectors. Which are very close to the floor board, which has let to my modified Mufflex Y pipe to bang on occasion.
I have no numbers or times yet, however i expect to find alot more hp w/ my upcoming dyno tune because i'm running very rich, and have lost performance becauase of that.
Over all i'm very happy with the headers, and for the price u can't beat em.

My Jethots touch the K-member as well & the Hooker Y pipe hits the floor board in one spot & comes VERY close in another. Mine hits on the drivers side K-member as well. Also, not only did I have to undo the steering knuckle & take out that linkage, I had to take out the block off plate that goes over the oil filter (I assume that's where you can install a oil cooler. The back spark plug on the passengers side is no longer easy to reach from the bottom & since it's still up on jackstands, I haven't tried putting them in from the top yet since I'm waiting to set it back down to stitch her back up on the topside. Other than that, if you are going to do it yourself, find someone that has an air compressor & a 3/8 air ratchet, it will save you LOTS of time since there is minimal room for getting good turns in while wrenching/ratcheting.

I helped install a set of hookers on a 99 hawk. The install wasnt very hard, just somethings hung us up. the rear spark plug on passenger side, rear bolt on coil pac to some time. we raised the headers in from underneath and it went in fairly easy, just be careful not to knick them up.

I plan on teh Jet-Hot LT as well and called them today and they said that they have adjusted the primary inwards to allow for more clearance on the K Member

I have just put my Jet-Hot headers on w/ the Hooker off-road pipe.On the driver's side they go on easy the only issue I had was a tube touching the k-member.You have to remove the oil block-off plate and the steering universal. The passenger side was a bitch you have to remove the dipstick tube, and the removing the coil packs as an assembly gives you alot more room to work.I also removed the valve cover and heat shields from below. The issue I had with the passenger side was it touched the hvac blower box.I will have to see how the heat affects it.I used duct tape to protect the coating on the headers while I installed them.I had to use O2 sensor extentions.I installed both headers from below.

My car is a 2000,I have a set from the very first batch so some improvements, adjustments have probably been made. You can clearance the k-member its close but not a big deal I only had to trim a piece off that measured 1/4 in"x 1 3/4in.The bigger concern I have is with the passenger side tube touching the blower box

I've had the same problems as guinness2 had.

Drivers side hit the K memeber=Ground it with die grinder & carbide bit.

O2 bungs aren't close enough to use without extentions but I was told I wouldn't need them=unresolved, car is still on jackstands until I can find some extensions.

Also, don't use the bolts they send, use your stock ones or go buy some new stocks ones. Maybe ARP makes some if you really want to spend some money. They don't require much torque & the stock ones work fine.

You have to take off the passenger side coil pack, oil dipstick, steering knuckle, & the oil cooler plate above the oil filter. Also, on mine, I couldn't put the cross member back on after I put the Hooker Y pipe on. I'm talking about the thin flat black part, it isn't a very ridgid part so I doubt it does much aside from keep the stock exhuast from dropping down.

I am going to buy the crossmember from BMR it looks like it has some extra clearance and a driveshaft loop to boot.As for the blower box the header is making its own clearance the plastic or whatever it is pretty stinky in the car now. I would really like to dyno my car now,it feels like it picked up an a$$ load of HP.I laid waste to a Lightning last night that beat me 3 cars last time we ran. These things really start working in 3rd gear
