Dual Cutout question
Dual Cutout question I've settled on QTP headers, but which y-pipe?
I'm keeping the stock dual/dual for stealth as needed. However, should I go with a single electric cutout in the rear after an OR-Y, or go with the dual electrics in the QTP Y? Essentially, is the resonance/rattle worth the gains? Can the electric cutouts be adjusted to regulate the resonating and rattles in the dual cutout?

Re: Dual Cutout question Personally if I didn't need cats, I would go with dual QTEC setup.....Unfortunately <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I need cats, so i'll be going with their random tech Y pipe when it comes out in a month or so
Re: Dual Cutout question well unlike 2002 trans am, i am going with the dual cutouts with my qtp system....im not really worried about the resonance or rattle, if it gets too loud ill just open the valve a little....anyway i dont i have a problem with this being that i always have my system pumping <img border="0" alt="[pimp]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_pimp.gif" />

Re: Dual Cutout question I am probably going to go with the dual setup in the Y. i have heard that the electric cutouts arent closing enough after a few months. (it was on a previous thread) I have a question, just got my 99 T/A,how can I perform the free Ram Air Mod?

Re: Dual Cutout question Im pretty sure some people have tried dual cutouts and didnt really see much over a single after the Y. I remember seeing this a year or 2 ago so i might be wrong.
You might want to ask Tom The Roofer he tried a bunch of different exhaust set-ups.
