Having problems with Idle?

Having problems with Idle? I am having a problem with my car where when I push the clutch in coming to a stop and it comes down to idle it drops to about 500 rpm and brings itself back up to 800-1000 rpm. Also when accelerating lightly the car seems to hesitate some in lower gears. Anyone have any ideas on what this could be maybe. The car has 56,000 miles on it with new plugs and wires. I haven't changed the fuel filter yet though?

Re: Having problems with Idle? Have you changed the battery yet? At 45,000 my car was having similar idle trouble to yours. One day the battery just died. I replaced the battery and havent had any idle trouble since

Re: Having problems with Idle? Yeah I did that a couple of months ago. Just yesterday I went and reset the ECU and made sure that all of the harnesses on the throttle body were plugged in good and ever since then everything seems fine. So I guess I won't worry about it until I notice similar problems again. Thanks for the help.
