Default LS6 Part # Confusion (???)

Whats the difference between these 2 part #s (88890523 & 88890524)? They both seem to be for LS6 intake manifold, but the prices are different.

Anyone know?

Thanks, but those don't help whatsoever. If you read those, the only one that mentions one of the 2 part #s I have given is the first one, and it doesn't help either. Not trying to come across as an ***, but I know how the search function works. I couldn't find what I was looking for, and neither could you.

Might be the difference in the "whistle" and "non-whistle" ones.

Another post talks about a slight casting change made mid year 2001 due to an intake "whistle".

Other then a side by side comparison of the 2 parts, I would consider them the same.

Historically, GM has assigned a different part number if even a minor change was make.
