painted headers smoking after install?

painted headers smoking after install? Is this just excess paint burning off, or is something not right?
I just finished up the install last night. and it seems to start fine (no leaks) but it started smoking from everywhere. is this burn off?

I didn't get much smoke, but I definitely remember the smell...mine smelled almost like burnt rubber; I looked and looked for a wire or hose melting, or a belt rubbing, couldn't find anything...mine eventually went away.
