Ok here is my question - does going with the overdrive alt pulley kick the alternator back up stock levels?? Also, by going with the overdrive alt pulley how much does that decrease the "underdrive" effect?

Just need some input before my cam install.

 

Can't really tell you if you'll get back up to stock power levels with the alt od pulley, but my guess is that you will. I don't think you'd give up any power - from what I know of underdrive pullies most of the gains come from slowing down the water pump.

PS. - Keep your head up and don't let Tech beat you down... if I got out anyone can!

 

You don't need to overdrive the alternator at all. If you're worried about charging power, like me, then just do the crank pulley. You won't even notice the difference.
