Okay htis is where I'm at, I had a Tach in my car and I took it out to put in a Harlan Shift Light. I used the same wires for Power and Ground and the Tach line. I set the Cylinder mode and Rpm limit and both times it flashed back the correct setting to me and when I turn on the car it flashes once but when I hit the selected rpm limit it doesn't light up?? Only thing I can think of is my Tach wire is bad.
Any suggestions??? <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Had a similar problem when I installed mine.....found out it was the connector I used......be sure to use the correct SIZE as that was my problem! Also try e-mailing Harlan, he is good at problem solving shift light issues <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

I emailed Harlan 3 days ago but I think he's busy. I had the right tach wire because the tachometer was working great when I took it out. When you say connector do you mean when you connect the wires??
Recheck your tach wire.. Pay close attention to the wire tap that you used..Mine was not making contact with the wire from the pcm. I ended up just splicing it and have had no problems since....
