Default Cutout setup to loud?

I just purchased pacesetters for my LS1 and was debating on getting cutouts to replace my cats, would this be to loud even with the cutouts closed? I have an SLP loudmouth(with the resognators) setup as my current cat-back.

It's just according to what you consider loud. It would in no way be too loud to me but that's just my opinion, I love'em loud. I've currently got a single cutout and I still want it louder than what it is. Some people say that a LT/no cats/resonator setup gets really irritating but I've never personally heard one so I comment on it. I think the LT/dual cut-out setups sound really good, go for it .

it will be loud and sound decent but sound like **** when u back off the throttle and the rpms climb. then it sounds stupid. a spiralflow or xr1 will cure that for you but it will still be really loud. trust me

I have SLP LT headers, ORY, and a cutout that I leave open ALL the time. Did I mention I'm running a TRex cam? My car is definately a sleeper.

I have slp loudmouth II as my cat back right now, which pretty much is 2 resognators, and what do you mean by only running 1 cutout? theres 2 cats i have to replace. once i get the LT pacesetters on, i'll have headers+cut outs(replacing the cats) and slp loudmouth II cat-back. Hope it won't be to loud WITH the cut outs closed
