honestly....i think the FAST is a minimal gain-to-$ item unless you decided to 1) go with a big cube motor), or 2) go with a set of aftermarket heads/cam.....
that way, you will be able to REALLY feed the cam and heads which benefit from more air...
honestly...i was going to keep my ls6, but when I found a FAST 90 and a NW 90 for $800 shipped, i bit...couldnt help it...oh yeah I had to send him my LS6, so i guess it was about $1050 realistically, still....I love it and itll REALLY help my head/cam when that goes on...thats my thoughts

Go FAST if you can afford it, I love mine and all the options that you can do with it. If you look hard enough on EBAY, you can find a 78mm for under 700.00, I did, and mine was new in the box.

A ported stock TB isnt a restriction for a LS6 manifold setup.

If your going to do alot of other stuff to the motor, the FAST should be on your parts list, but, wait till you need it. That 800.00 bucks could be better spent in heads or valvetrain parts. Its a great piece, but not if you don't need it.

if your just doing a cam...definatly go with the ls6 manifold over the FAST 78, for the money and performance you will need the ls6 rocks. Stock TB will be fine
