They are crap. I know I've used them on my V6 and it was crap after few thousand miles(misfire). I switch to iridiums after that.

And yes, my coils were good, wires were good, vaccum was good, fuel filter was good but the plugs were bad.

I had a set of platinum 4's in my '95 TA and didn't have a problem with them but they were only in for about 1000 miles. I've heard a lot of people complain about them though.

+1 Agreed. Never had luck with these things. All marketing and no performance.

NGK's are my personal favorite, had them in both of my cars and have had nothing but good luck with them. I've also heard the Delco's hold up well too.

they are junk in anything other than a bmw or a mercedes because they are made to run on those junk plugs.

I am going to have my plugs replaced in the next few days and am not sure which ones I am going to use yet. I did a few searches on plugs and it seems like most everyone agrees, NGK TR55 is good and the Bosch is not. I particularly do not like Bosch myself.

I have a 2000 SS Camaro and I believe that AC Delco Platinum came stock in these. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Well I guess what I am getting at is almost everyone recommends the TR55. These are a copper plug. Isn't the platinum better for various reasons? Is the reason that people buy these because the are an all right plug and they are cost effective?

I also read somewhere someone having problems with the Iridium plugs.

I think I am going to go with the AC Delco Rapid Fire which is a performance platinum plug or the AC Delco professional platinum.

Anyone have any comments on these?

Just took my factory Iridiums out in favor of the NKG 55's. I had to listen to a lecture from the a-hole at Napa about why I should use Iridiums but I plan on replacing my plugs every 10k or so and I'm not wasting money on the Iridums. I gapped mine to factory specs for my 02 which is .060.

AC Delco Rapid Fire, NGK TR55GP of these two which would be the best choice or is there not much of a difference?

The AC Delco Iridiums are great plugs, but they are expensive.

I run the Delco Iridiums but I have run the bosch plugs for a long time with no problems at all. I cant figure out why anyone would say they suck.
