Hooker Lt's w/ Loudmouth
I ordered a dynomax bullet muffler to replace the resonator on my Loudmouth. I ordered the longer one (18inches).
Item# = 289-24219
Description = Dynomax Magnum Race Bullet Mufflers
3'' In/Out, 18'' Long
Qty/Price = 1 at $36.99 = $36.99
Looks like a inexpensive solution. Should be welded on. I'll tell you how it turns out. Others said it would eliminate most of the rasp...

My car is is the shop right now getting a Corsa cat back put on.
Whats up Nick? This is also Nick btw. I thought you had the loudmouth on when I ran you like 2 or 3 weeks ago. It didn't sound bad but it was a little poppy when the engine was calming down(hence you were in front ) . I would have to say it's your resonator. Just get rid of it and drop 7-800, on the corsa . JK. What did you run with the stall and LTs by the way? If you want just email me with the times. Mike has my add.

Hey man. Good to hear from ya dude. Yeah, the loudmouth was on, but the headers weren't. It sounded alright until the LT install. The stall helped ALOT. Holy crap. Hey, I'll just PM ya.
TaTommyWS6, thanks for the info. I think I might go that route. That's pretty cheap.[LIST]

She hated my car before, but last night, she said she hates it even more now. At least I don't have to worry about her wanting to drive it.

is alot of that rasp from no cats?i have the lm and it drones a little but sounds good with my cats on.you guys are scarying me from putting on lt's! even if i put on lt's ill still have to run cats.do you think the cats will help with any future rasping? thanks

Yeah, I think if there are cats on the car, it won't rasp as bad. That's just what I THINK though. Don't take my word for it.
It is still very loud, and there is still drone on the highway, but its nice and rumbly at idle, and like I said NO rasp. I am very happy with the sound. Heres a pic of my setup.
