Default Opinions on a few mods...

Looking to lightly mod my girlfriend's 99 Z A4, and was wondering a few things. Right now, I'm definite on this:
-Catback
-Airlid/filter
-Programmer

First, I've read all around about ECU programming, and I have a modified WRX, so I'm pretty savvy with ECU tuning, but I thought the Predator by Diablo looked to be a nice setup for her car to increase power/mileage as well as making the shifting more snappy.

Next, I was originally going to go with the SLP or similar ram air package, which includes lid, filter, and the actual ram air unit. Then I started reading about the SSRA mod. Seems like I would be nervous of her ripping that thing apart on a curbtop though. Who, other then Austin performance has the SSRA, and do you think it would be worth the worries of her destroying it, or just accept slightly less power with the SLP CAI? (also, recommend places that may have a cheaper/better product then the SLP) Thanks a bunch guys!!!

any type of lid and/or cai is going to make about the same power, maybe a difference of 1 or 2 horses max...
On the ecu programming, if you have done any searching on this site you would know that hptuners or ls1edit or efilive are the best and only tuning software you will ever need...
if you are looking for a place other then SLP, look to your right, there are about 100 sponsors advertising there and most of them are very good places to shop...may I suggest texas speed and performance, i just got pacesetters and there y-pipe for a very good price and I am extremely happy with the product.

IMO forget the programmer and look into a pulley or a ported TB. You could get both for the same price of the programmer. The lid/filter and catback are great choices as well. The first two mods that everyone usually does.
