Which exhaust system and why???
I just got a 2002 SS Camaro and I was wondering the best way to do the exhaust. Someone told me that the SLP Loud mouth Cat-back system with the Borla muffler would be the best. Is this true? Please tell me why you picked the exhaust you did and describe the sound that it makes
Thanks alot

LM: kinda raw sounding, cheap, gives good gains.
Corsa: much more refined sound, $$$, a good sounding muffler
GMMG: my fav, good flow, chambered design, pricey
Hooker: a just a good system.
How about duals?

A buddy of mine has the corsa. I'm not real crazy about the tips, but it does sound good. They seem to have an issue with the design of their mufflers though. Guy in question had to have 4 replacements before he got one that didn't rattle after a week.
I wanna switch though, since my hooker headers are going on soon, I would like the whole hooker exhaust. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Would anyone like to trade their hooker catback w/ my LM? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Why?
1. Excellent flow
2. Excellent sound - a bit louder than the average catback
3. On a Camaro - the muffler is visible from the rear - mufflers that are offset to one side (as most are) drive me nuts!, The GMMG looks great and is balanced.
4. Quality - been on the GMMG cars for years now. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

loudmouth/dynomouth 2200 cfm (same as 3" straight pipe and almost as loud)
magnaflow/dynomax ultraflow crossflow mufflers 1100 cfm
hooker/borla 900 cfm
edlebrock less than 700 cfm
flowmaster 80 series 350 cfm
i like my hooker cat-back. great sound good flow and when i do need a little extra flow i can drop the muffler and tailpipes in a few minutes for straight pipe/weight savings.
IMO the sound, quality & overall performance is "hands down" one of the best systems on the market.
I put mine on my 2000 when i first got the car.
Now in 03 it looks just as it did when it went on.
My car is also a daily driver, as long as you take care of them they'll last 4ever.
