than the engine needs. A drilled hole, a blade
that doesn't seal right, or problems at the
IAC plunger sealing face could all be the root
of the problem. The last would come about from
epoxy globs or loose grinding residue.
You might try reseating the blade first, loosen
the screws just a bit, to where the blade is
able to move with some pressure but not flopping,
wind up the blade & let "snap" closed, tighten
screws in closed position. This should get the
blade to its best-seated location. Be sure the
stop screw isn't setting the "closed" position
too far open when you do this, back off if need
be and then reset when done. A stop setting too
backed-off might let the blade go over "dead
closed" if you ground the bore totally smooth,
check for daylight and minimize it.
