I currently have a C5 with the following mods: Stainless Steel Works headers, Blackwing Air intake, Corsa x pipe and exhaust, Hurst shifter, BFG G-Force KD's (295's,and 4.10 gears. Car is a M6.

So what should I do next? It's only a street car, so I don't take it to the strip at all. It's also my daily driver, so keep that in mind. I'd like to stay stock looking/sounding, and go with some kind of stealthy mod (roller rockers) or something, as I do street race. However, I can't really think of any good bang for the buck mods to do. Help me out if you can think of anything...! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I already suspension type upgrades. I want go fast stuff.

 

Drop in a good clutch, either a SPEC or McLeod and slap some Nittos on back and heat them up. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

 

What about some programming--LS1 Edit or a Predator?

 

Z06 intake, ported TB, and LS1 edit.

 

i would have to agree with the census and start with the tb. computer goodies wiht a revised valvetrain like the roller rockers with a raised rev limit would be fun <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> or if you feel like testing the tranny you could always use the giggle gas <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> but you should put every bolt on you can on the engine first

 

Have you considered N2O? Great Bang for the buck mod.

you can upgrade your car very complete with those:
Ported MAF/TB, LS6intake, ASP and LS1edit <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

God saves USARMY <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />

 

I think best bang for your buck would be nitrous then cam. I also think with the mods you have you could get a lot more with a good clutch
