LS6 intake part numbers I ordered a ls6 intake from a company a week ago, and I was looking at the part number and it doesn't seem right.

also, a friend of mine bought an ls6 intake off ebay, supposedly off a z06. It has no egr. and

These numbers are accurate. My brother is the service manager at a chevy dealership and he verified them for me. These are the same numbers I used to order my intake. But I guess since you already have your intake, it doesn't matter. The Z06 intake and the 2001+ F-Body intake are the same, GM just decided to give them different part numbers. That's what confuses people. As long as the intake doesn't have an EGR opening, then it is an LS6 intake no matter what. I just don't understand why GM places one part number on the box and a different number on the actual part. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
