LM2 is still loud don't kid yourself, I dunno about the droan as I don't have one, but the drone in my car with the lm1 is definately there at certain RPM's... but the rpm's that I'll be running around at once the car's back together, probably won't be in that area anymore.. around 2200 it is the most noticable, right where a stock car is all teh time on the street.

I would IMO. That's one of the better ones sound wise, not too looud and stil makes good power. Save the $ for a converter, and put the cam back in the car.

can't afford GMMG because it's around $700 isn't it? and I'm only 17 years old lol. I would have been able to if I didn't just pay out more money than I'd like to think about in repair bills after learning a lesson about running Nitto DR's in the rain. It's all good though because now the car is even nicer than before. just set me back a ways on mods. if it wasn't for the crash, I would have had my 3.73's, converter and cam re-installed.

And think, nitto's are one of the better drag radials in the rain, never mind the et streets that I roll on every now and then... gotta be careful man!

You'll be fine with the catback you have, don't worry about that. Just get to looking for a decent converter, get that done and the cam put back in before you even worry about the gears, those 2 will help so much you may find yourself not wanting to change the gears anyway.

IF you don't mind me asking ( take to PM if need be ) what damage occured to the car? And who did you have do the paintwork? I would like to see teh car now actually, I'd like to see the quality of the paint, I would like to eventually have my car repainted because GM has no clue how to paint a car, and my car is a prime example of why the quebec plant shoudl have been closed years ago. Lemme know.

what about replacing the resonator/ bullet with a magnaflow or borla xr-1 bullet and making a magnamouth or borlamouth, and running that with longtubes and a catted y? that shouldnt be as raspy and maybe more settle. im thinking of switching my hooker and going with magnamouth, my hooker is just too quiet now. im planning on long tubes soon, but will probably get a catted y for inspection purposes so i figure the hooker will still be on the quiet side. its not my daily driver so i think i could handle a louder exhaust, as long as its not very raspy.

I thought about that, I don't mind loud, I just want good tone as well. My car is my daily driver for the warmer months so idk how well that'd go over with my neighbors and the police though. As it is, I used to have a race ATV and if you've ever heard a Yamaha Raptor 660R through straight pipes, it's LOUD. Going up and down the road on that thing made them hate me long before I even owned my Camaro.

Loudmouth is out if you're looking for sound quality - ANY LOUDMOUTH, I or II. both are just that - loud - but sound like straightpipe ****.

i vote for SLP dual/dual. it's not LOUD, but it's a lot louder than people give it credit for. it's loud as hell WOT and it sounds like a mustang. it sounds SICK when you give it gas on 3rd gear...sounds like a 5.0 pulling and i'm on stock manifolds

with headers it'll be even louder. if you want awesome tone, not VERY loud but definitely a lot louder than stock, and a reasonably priced setup and flows very well and is all stainless steel (mine is 5 years old and you can still see yourself in the muffler), SLP dual/dual is the way to go.

^^^that's a 5 year old muffler

oh yea, rasp? what rasp?
