Are macs right for me?
The car is a daily driver and won't see a whole lot of track time. I'm mostly looking for an excellent street car for some stoplight fun that would also perform should I take it to the track. As such, i'm looking for my power to be more in the midrange area (too low and I wouldn't hook, too high and I wouldn't use it much on a daily basis). Would mac's be suitable for this application or do longtubes produce more midrange power? I was always under the impression that they performd more at the low end and top end but about on par in the midrange, but please school me.
Thanks!
thanks,
Nick

<strong> Well, I got my dyno results, and I'm happy with them. My guestimation LS1edit tune was dead on, as far as A/F goes!

323 RWHP
334 RWTQ
with lid, G-MAF, cut- EGR tube, HPP-3.
Full stock exhaust & original plugs @ 60K.
