Default lost a part in the engine bay,, can not find.

I was putting on my block off plates for the AIR on my manifolds and one fell down by the manifold. I can not find it,, this sucks.

Lost a 8MM wrench in mine somewhere when changing the battery. Yours should be easier to find - keep looking, you'll find it.

I have probably lost 20+ things in working on engines. They are probably laying in a street somewhere in your area too (I just relocated in ATL from North Royalton). That will be rough with the AIR off though b/c that is a mammoth exhaust leak and not sure I would want that blowing out all over the place. Good luck trying to find it.

If it was just a plate a fabbed up, then no big deal. But I chopped off the old plate off attached to the hoses, and that is the one that is lost.. Finding it is a must cause I want all of the stuff incase I put the AIR system back on.

Same problem with a sparkplug

I could not get to it, after it managed to wedge iself between the block and the manifold. Use a spring grabber, or a magnet to try to get to it. You may have to have a buddy get under there and fish through the bottom the manifold to push up the lost part.

I won't lie, I coundn't get to it and it was there until I had my headers and motor mounts installed.

Good luck. Just be patient.

All my **** lands in the k-member, it's like a black hole for parts.

Last sunday, my dad cranked open the valve on the freon bottle, which caused the little rubber gasket to go down between the battery and the accumulator. When I tried to grab it, it fell INSIDE the frame rail. We had to charge/test it only using the low side guage.

I lost a whole ratchet in mine. I was going to look for it harder and forgot about it. I just got done waxing it one day and went out for a drive with my newly installed LT's. I pulled into a gas station and rounded the corner and saw some hotty standing there looking at my car. Next thing I know I hear something hit the ground and my ratchet slide across the parking lot and stops at her feet. Talk about embaressment.
