Polyurethane won't tear. They sell them at autozone for $20. You'll feel a little vibration, but forget about it in a few days time. Install it without the shim that it comes with.

Here's a guide - https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/508688-mounts-transmission-motor.html

Probably the Energy Suspension one that you can get at pep boys or autozone will do for like 20 bucks like stated above but am I right to say also shave off the bumps on the top of the mount and I know already to not put the preload spacer in when installing it too. Just thought people with the ES mount could chime in if that would be a good idea also, to shave those 2 bumps down flat.

I baught my last one from autozone, but i just went under my car and my trans mount looks perfect normal...but its still knocking like hell under my console area when i full throttle it from anywhere under like 15mph...i wiggled my drive shaft, seems to be still good, what else could it be? it has the same symptoms of a bad trans mount but its not? Does it a lot when i accelerate hard and turn too, that damn knocking sound

Do you have any other suspension parts like SFCs or a DSL ??

My flimsy stock torque arm was flapping on my DSL making an awful noise / vibration

The tranny mount that that give you at Autozone when you say XXXX year Camaro is not the right piece, its generic. The OEM GM one is much bigger.

The mount can look totally normal, but still be torn. When my stocker tore, it made so much noise while turning that it sounded like the posi-unit was going out or something.

I did not shave the "bumps" off my energy suspension tranny mount and it's fine.

Here's an OEM mount......

The one they gave me was a POS compared to the stocker. I put my stock RIPPED one back on and waited to get a new OEM one from the stealership.

The one they gave me didn't fit quite right either, maby yours was pre-loaded and that extra stress helped rip it.

Yes they keep the mounts in stock, they are usually on the shelf by the few other poly bushings they carry.

I doubt they sell the poly motor mounts, but thunder racing does for $50.

The poly trans mount is kind of generic, but it fits our cars. I think the motor mounts are a little more specific to our cars.
