Serpentine belt keeps slipping off pulley
Two times recently, I opened my hood and noticed my belt sitting halfway off the tensioner and power steering pulleys. I made sure the belt was lined up on all the pulleys, so what would cause this to happen?

There has been some problems with the alt. pulley not lining up, if all are lined up you might want to consider what is known as a Larry pulley from ASP.

I went through that same problem. Check the markings on the tensioner, make sure you are close to the center marking. In my case, my belt was a tad too loose and it kept walking off and/or splitting. I tried about 3 different size belt, finally I got one that was 100% right and never had the problem again....

Re: Serpentine belt keeps slipping off pulley
I bought the Larry Pulley about a year ago and the problem disappeared.
I didn't catch mine in time, slung a belt, and wiped out both A/C tensioner pullies.... $200 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
You may get by with KennyH's suggestion, but if you want to be sure... get the Larry Pulley.
