Default Exhaust dilema

Alright, I just can't decide what to do. Have stock manifolds and cats, with no intension of changing them(on this car). Installed SLP 3" Y-pipe and Loudmouth. Much to obnoxious for me.(Live in the city, with lots of buildings for reverb) Want to keep the open flow of the system, but am not happy with the sound.

Options are 1)weld in a Dynomax 18" bullet to quiet the system, but hear that this will only quiet a little, and won't change the exhaust note much if any. 2)Have heard a lot of good things about the hooker cat-back, so install that with the SLP y-pipe already installed, and add an electic cut-out for those loud and full hp times.(then could sell the LM as is, new) 3)Also hear a lot of good about the "growl" and flow of the GMMG, but might be lots $$$. 4) Anything I haven't already thought of.

I'm looking for a mean growl, louder and more noticable than stock, but not "Race-track" loud all the time. And I want to maintain the best HP I can by doing this. I have heard the borla, and just don't like the sound/tone/note that is typical for it, even though it is a good system.(not an option for me).

Please give thoughts and opinions.

Thanks in advance.

I went with the GMMG and for normal driving I got a set of resonator tips from stainless works. They take just a bit of the edge off and virtually eliminated the flat tone at certain rpm/throttle. When I want a bit more snap I change the tailpipes - takes about 5 minutes.

I went with the hooker cat-back it sounds bad ***. Really deep, but not that loud.

If I go with the hooker, will I lose any HP from what I have with the Loudmouth now? The loudmouth really doesn't have a muffler, but the hooker does. If I will lose HP, will it be enough to invest in a cut-out or not?

The GMMG is great. It is loud enough without being to loud with stock manifolds. It has a mean growl and is pretty unique.

I have the SLP Y pipe too, and run a Flowmaster. Sounds great under acceleration and has a nice idle tone.

I just installed the hooker. It has a really deep sound at idle but screams at WOT! It's not quite loud enough for me but hopefully some off-road headers will do the trick!

Heres another option, put the stock cab back on and take off the cats, it sounds pretty good to me. Or put the stock cat back on and get and electric cut out.

Check out the SLP 2OTL(two on the left). It has an actual muffler but it's a straight through design. If you wanna see a couple of pics there are some on my pic page. http://community.webshots.com/user/hewligan
