Default How do these spark plugs look?

Changing out header today and looked over the plugs since I had to pull them out. They are NGK TR6 plugs, gapped at .040". They appear to have a slight green tint on the electrode, porcelain is very light gray/whitish.

Am I running a little lean?

I think that green tint is from fuel additives. I've always wanted to learn about reading spark plugs! There's a few guys who swear buy it.

They like to take the car on a 1/4 mile run, shut it off immediatly after the finish line, pull the #7 plug, cut off the threads, and study the whole inside insulator part.

What does the gap portion look like. I just want to see a profile of your gap.

Looks like new, no crusties or anything. Will get a pic up shortly.

From what I understand the green on them indicates a heathly running car on nitrous. The greenish color is what happens from the nitrous and is a good thing from what I have heard.

Hehe, I have run a bottle thru it .

I guess even on little shot there is some evidence. Since I have little experience with nitrous I had no idea that it turned plugs slightly green. Thanks.
