No worries dude. I just presumed that because your picture was a link that it was "the" link being talked about.......it's all good and it looks like you got a nice setup with your TSP's.

If I get another LS1 F-Bod, I will prolly try something similar again.

I got a quick question, I had tsp bullet true duals and loved the sound of it but had to get rid of it because of the headers and other issues. Right now I have stock manifolds on the car and stock y pipe and then a flowmaster catback exhaust. What I was thinking is if I cut the exhaust after it goes over the axle and take out the flowmaster, then weld in a y like adaptor to the end and then run piping with moroso spiral flows out to the rear. Would this work and if so How loud will it be? About the same as true duals?
-Thanks Brandon

No, it was done by one of our sponsers- Outlaw Motorsports. Lets just say it was a very fair price for an over the axle setup.

Minus the panhard rod, stock. I really need to get focused on doing my suspension/chasis. Especially after seeing that pic of my rear axle->

TSP duals, spiral flows, had a local shop run regular crush bent pipe out the back (might switch that part out sometime later, not sure). The tailpipes made a big difference in interior noise, and I just put some Pypes cats right off the headers on it that quieted it even more (and killed some of the rasp). Still loud as hell at WOT though

From what I understand, with no cats if your concerned about sound, an X-pipe with a non-fiberglass packed muffler will create rasp (flowmaster, spiral flow, etc) so if you totally can't stand rasp, get something like a bullet or some other fiberglass packed muffler. If you want to do Flowmasters or some other straight through/non packed muffler, stick with an H-pipe setup (or run the right resonators/cats). The Mustang guys already know about this

no decent pics, but sound clips in my sig (no cats, with tailpipes)

will it work? yes...but it seems like a lot of work for no apparent reason...you won't get anything over what you would with a standard y setup. no, you won't see the gains or sound you would with duals.

Consider going with magnaflow duals which are run in the same area as the stock exhaust and may clear up some of the issues you had.

If you totally want to do the y thing at the axle pipe, how about the dynomouth setup (bullet/spiral flow in the I-pipe, y at the over axle pipe, and two tailpipes).

Me too.

I don't think that will work with a stock suspension/panhard rod setup though, you'll notice almost all other duals are routed over the axle on the passenger side.

anyone have suggestions on what type of material to use when hanging a td system. My resonators come out right by the stock drive shaft brace which is no longer there. So I used one of the bolts from that and ran wire to the band clamp on the exhaust. It keeps getting to hot (i think) and snapping off. Any suggestions on how to hang these damn things without welding, I can get good clearance if the material would hold up....btw first used a 16 guage single stainless one side broke in a week. then i went to a braided 20 guage with a 5 wire braid and it broke in a day (regular mild steel)

i'm dropped and have 2.5 inch TD's X-pipe, no problems, just drive alittle more sideways, but that's nothing new if you've been lowered for a while

I had the SLP Eibach/Bilstein combo which lowers the car about an inch. I originally had custom 3" true duals that scraped the crap outta the mufflers and cats. I later went to the TSP true dual setup which scraped WAY more.
