If I try a 24 inch DynoMax patch is this a bolt on? Do I need to cut and weld in the new muff aft of the Y?

I must admit that my car is extremely loud with my mac hedders, no cat y-pipe and hooker cat-back

And I LOVE IT! about 2100 rpm it really gets nasty!

It's because of the !cats.

I got the same, it does sound sick, like someone beating a walrus with an oar during a thunderstorm.

I had the same problem with my neighbors,I put a 18'' long 3'' dia bullit in the I pipe and
it made a world of difference. The car sounds much more refined and didn't seem to lose noticable power.

hey, I am having a hooker muffler installed on tuesday... my current mods...

LT's
224/224 .575/.575 114 LSA Cam
3" Y-pipe
Gutted Cats
Dynomax Resignator...

So I plan on leaving the Dynomax in just before the muffler, I am just a little worried I will get rasp if I don't..

I will post some video of my car to show everyone how it sounds...This set-up isn't exactly common with a Dynomax BULLET

. Maybe that will help you decide if you want to go through the trouble of installing one or just changing your exhast all together...

I'll have a 4" bullet in my I pipe before the SLP Dual/dual on my new setup, I was worried about rasp when I open the cutout, but it should be all good in the hood.
