Default Dr Gas X pipe 3" to 2.5" or have a custom 3" TDs

So I did my research and since my car is lowered so I ordered a universal x pipe from Dr Gas 3 to 2.5 x pipe.
Now I've seen pics of TDs that are custom made that tuck pretty good.
Does it really make a difference since the front ot the car is lower than the back. Should I just sell it and get a custom one? Around how much should i expect for custom one before the axle. I plan on getting Sweet thunders, I dont think it matters.

$475ish is about what I'd pay for duals dumped before the axle.

Dr. gas has a nice x-pipe, did you get the universal kit?

With the 2.5" exit pipe, you will gain a little clearance over a 3" exit, which is what I have. Dr. gas said the 2.5" exit is good for 500 HP.

The clearance does drop down a bit right after the X-pipe, which is the lowest part on my car right now with 4" of ground clearance at that one point then clearance gets better as it goes back to my Magnaflow mufflers.

What kind of ground clearance are people seeing with TD's on a non lowered car?

the only really bad clearance area is under the lh floor brace. Thats where mine will touch evey once in a while and it as high as I could make it without notching the brace.

Look on the far side of this pic and you can see what I'm talking about. Its right where it kicks down off the header.

I ended up using some of those Dr gas crushed pipes (expensive but flow the same as a 3" round) in that area so i didn't loose any clearance issues there.

What headers are you running?
