real muscle cars have iron blocks bigger than 400 cubic inches. we don't own a real muscle car. we have an aluminum smallblock motor that is well known to rasp...severely with louder exhaust kits. one of the only cures to this is to run cats. cats belong on an LS1 f-body. they sound like **** without cats. ALL catbacks rasp at some rpm without cats, at least that i've heard.
Iron block 408 cubic inches.. so i guess its ok for me to not run cats???Cats Suck.. they make cars sound toooo muffled.. if you dont want rasp, get duals.. end of story/
that being said, edelbrock's are nice too
i'll be going pacesetter as edelbrock offers no catted-y. ORY's on f-bodies not only are illegal and smell like ****, they sound like **** too. whatever you get, put cats on it.
I love the catless sound and happen to like the smell of gas.

not they just use the ti tech coating and theres no problems
imo the edelbrock long tubes and their y pipe are top of the line
1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 witch has been proven over and over to make more hp and a 3.5" collector.
imo cant go wrong with eather.
yes ps have proven results and edelbrocks are proving the same
