how much quieter is LM2 than LM1?

how much quieter is LM2 than LM1? im thinking of getting the LM for my car but i have zz4 cam, shorties, custom Ypipe that turns into a Y about 6 inches before the CAT, i don't want a quite system and i don't mind poping or anything i just don't want to have a massave cabin drone.what would sound better in your opinion, i'm leaning more twords LM1 but im still not sure. and this will be on a L98 engine

I doubt there will be much difference in db level, mostly in tone.
The mufflers are interchangable and available from SLP seperatley.
If it where me I'd go LM1 and if it was a tad too much I'd swap out the resonator for a Magnaflow bullet muffler. As it will be cheaper and is generally accepted to sound better than the LM2.

Both sound good. LM1 is just louder ,, especially at idle. WOT throttle sounds awesome. LM2 has a quieter idle, but WOT is still nice. Pick up a LM1 and if it is too loud, just order the LM2 resognator. You will like one of the two. Here is a short video of my LM1 cat-back on a cold start up. Still running stock manifolds and y-pipe. Don't mind the car,, it is filthy right now.
