So okay, cap everything on PCV system and slap on the breather on the oil spout right? Don't need to put a mini-breather on the driver side because all built pressure will eventually transfer to the passanger side, correct?

Correct. Each bank is not isolated. Some people like to use a piece of hose to connect the rear PCV ports on the valve covers for extra pressure equilization, and because it's easier than plugging, but it's not necessary.

would i still need to have a catch can for anything if i deleted my pcv system? i'm thinking of scraping the pcv using a breather on the oil cap and connecting the two covers with a 3/8" hose. anything else i should be doing? thanks. btw my catch can and ls1 pcv system is crap and letting WAY to much oil in.

I have had no side effects of doing this. It will decrease your oil life, but as long as you stay with with the 3k mile interval that most people do you'll be fine. My car has so much blowby that the PCV and fresh air tube were'nt able to evacuate the gasses fast enough. This caused a pressure buildup in my crankcase causing my car to blow oil out of the front seal.
how did you have that much blow by on the stock bottom end?

good call on the PCV delete, but that breather on the oil cap looks like pure **** IMO. untill someone can come up with a less redneck looking way to delete the PCV system ill stick with an LS6 style with catch can.

So... i ended up putting the PCV system back on. It was a pain in the ***. My motor has a ton of blow-by apparently. I was having to clean the breather ever 1k miles or oil would puke all over my engine bay. After 6 months of that ****, i put the PCV back on, and just figured i would rather have the car smoke a little more LOL. The car still smoked horribly with the PCV removed. I guess its time for some new rings. The car has almost 90k miles, it runs great, just smokes. Compression is all in the range of 165-180 psi. I guess ill drive it until there is an actual failure...until them, ill keep rollin'.

BTW it uses just as much oil...about 1qt. ever 1k miles...
