Does anyone know?? I looked on install university and it was explaining how to do the cut. It said doing this cut is so more air can go through the TB because before the cut you can see the pipe when the TB is open. Let me know how to fix this asap

The brass fitting on top of the manifold screws tight. don't you have the directions that part is pretty clear. If not I can try taking a picture and see how it comes out...

I actually bought it off another guy. If you can take pics it would be great. I have the LS6 manifold with the EGR hole. So there is no brass screw hole to screw it into.

Are you sure it is an LS6 manifold? SLP is the only one I know of that makes an LS6 mainifold with an egr and it has 3 brass fittings that hold the egr tube in place. What is the part number on the manifold or did you already install it?

If you look at my first post on this thread you'll see some pics. Its clearly an LS6 manifold.

Opps sorry bout that I don't know why I started reading later in the post normally I don't do that.

Looking at the pictures in the first post you are missing a specialized nut and what I think is 2 press sleeve type brass fittings. I'd take a pic but the wife took the camera with her today. It looks fairly specialized but I'm not plumber so maybe you can get it at a hardware store, but you probably would want to take the mainfold and EGR pipe with you.

I'd call SLP in the morning and see what they can do. Good luck. If you want pictures of the three fittings PM me an email address and I'll get them to you when the wife gets home.

Bro you have a SLP "modified" LS6 manifold. The cutting of the EGR pipe is a free mod, hopefully you didn't **** it up by cutting it. As some one said you need a nut of some sort to secure the EGR pipe to your modified LS6. You see the threads on the piece sticking out the manifold?

My wife's home if you would send me an email address I'll send you the pics of the nut you need and the diagram from the instructions that shows you the install of the EGR tube. I didn't read your first post did you not read through my responses

I have the manifold sitting on the shelf new out of the box waiting for a new M6 wiring harness to finish the install.

Are you saying that someone made the hold in the LS6 manifold and lied to me saying it was the EGR one??? If it is I might have to beat his ***

There are two different things one is a free mod on install university to prevent turbulance due to the egr which you did.

The other is the install for the SLP (which you do have the slp manifold it is modified by slp) you have to cut it for that as well.

Just not sure if the cut is in the same place will send pictures after dinner!
