90MM Fast intake install questions????? I bought a new Fast 90/90 set up used but never installed, all the intake gaskets were missing and the TB O ring was gone too. (Fast is sending them right now) That said, why will the intake not sit right on the heads? It looks like the bottom of the intake base is hitting the lifter valley bolt heads. Are these bolts supposed to be button head style bolts or hex head like I have? This intake will never sit close enough to the heads to seal if something does not give....

Yes you need low-profile button heads. The FAST manifold comes with them, but you could pick some up at a hardware store. Bring your stock bolts and match up the threads/lengths. You also need to replace your coolant pipe with a new front pipe and rear plugs if you car is a 97-2000 and you have not done so already. You also need to untape the knock sensor wire-harness clips as well. Check out LS1howto.com's manifold swap page if you need some help with it.

Sounds to me like you were missing the hardware bag from FAST which comes with the fasteners and the round 90 mm gasket as well....
Normally its under the intake in the bottom of the box...
