Yep, that's what I have on my car. You can see them in my avatar pic, but it's kinda small. If you decide against the one chambers, twisters are your next best choice IMO.

These are the same design of muffler that are used in the GMMG cat back, which many consider the pinnacle of cat-backs. From personal experience I can say that no other tube style muffler in a TD setup even comes close to sounding this good.

the 18 inch sweet thunders look like a good choice and not to expensive either. got any pics of the setup under anyones car?? sweet thunders look like they might take the place of dynomax and flowmaster one chambers.

Sorry dude,

Maybe on a LT1 car, but on ls1's i was sorely dissapointed in the sound that sweet thunder's give. They are to TD's what a cutout is to a y-pipe, only difference being that airflow on a sweet thunder is shrunk considerably through a sweet thunder. I was not impressed at all with the Sweet thunders, and I have personally installed flowmaster 1 chambers, magnaflows, Borla XR1's, and straight pipes. I like the sprial flow's sound, but again, the neck down in the spiral flow is not worth the reward in sound. I'd say try out the outlaw series flow's. I have no experience with them, but do plan on picking up a set in the future.

i love the sound of my flowmaster 1 chambers man, im this guys friend, they are a bit low for me, but im going to try and figure out how to adjust them to tuck them up a big more they scraped a bit yesterday and one was auctually taken off the car pulling into my drive way. the reason is the jack *** used U bolt style clamps on the mufflers(why he didnt weld them is beyond me) but its getting taken care of this week while its at the trans shop.

all i really needed them to do for me was run the Pipe the pipe and X pipe tucks up better then my previous Y pipe. but the mufflers need to be moved up a bit more for me

Yeah your car sounds great but if i do get the one chambers im definantly getting them welded up so i have no scraping issues, i just dont want any rasp plus i still want that great loud exhaust sound.

Well im not really wantin to spend alot of money on mufflers that i wont like, i will prolly just end up goin with the Flowmaster one chambered mufflers since they seem to be the most popular.

I've had both flowpro twisters and magnaflows on my TD's. I liked the flowpros but the magnaflows are even better. Really, really deep and anything but quiet. Just the way I like it.

i think u should run the moroso sprial flows man, there 40 bucks a piece, even though they are glass packs, it wont be much to replace them if the packing wears out in them. and they sound really really good. get what u want the first time so u dont waist money

I'm running it on stock heads.

And here's a video clip of the Flo Pro twister mufflers on the X. BTW, I realize the car isn't tuned yet, so I don't wanna hear about it. And this is my first time using photobucket for a video, so let me know if it works for you or not.

your name fits you well...A boner....There is no packing in the spiral flow mufflers...Just a spiraling metal core with a hole in the center to help cancel rasp and resonsance.
