TSP dual install...
TSP dual install... Well I bit the bullet and ordered my LTs and TSP duals today... Anything I should look out for upon installation? I've done an LT install on an LS1 before so I've got a good idea on that, but anything special with the install of the duals? I will be doing the install at my brother in law's shop with a lift so I can't imagine it'll be rocket science (already did that, header install on LT1). Thanks for the input

take your coil packs off or at least unbolt and slide them over, working from the top is much easier (it's worth it

Flip your fuel line brackets inside the DS tunnel and re-install the lines (more clearance). Put a jack under the dumps and raise them up as high as humanly possible, beating on anything they run into along the way. Use 3/8" x 1-1/4" (or so) bolts with some large FENDER WASHERS (they have them at hardware stores) along with some nyloc nuts.
I'd also get poly motor mounts and install those bad boys while the exhaust is out.
It's going to take a while to get the duals right. Even though they may look "high enough" while on the lift, they will be too low when you get it down. With poly motor mounts, you'll be able to run the pipes much closer to the body right off of the collectors. I'd spend at least 1-1.5 hours on the duals alone.

I did some searching and found that the link in JRP's sticky for DirtyJohn's install guide is wrong, but found the right one here https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...hlight=install and that pic was EXACTLY what i was looking for, in reference to theblur talking about flipping the fuel lines. The weekend can't come soon enough

Most hardware stores have fender washers. They are like 1.5" diameter with only a 3/8" hole. They will distribute the load and help keep your bolts from ripping through the floorboard should anything happen.
