Throttle Cable Help....
Throttle Cable Help.... I had bought the stock GM able for cars without TC. No big deal. My dilemma is with the BRACKET itself. Are there any aftermarket brackets out there? The stock one is bumping into my intake and I can't get the holes lined up. Is it safe to be cutting/trimming some of the stock bracket? I'd hate to mess up it's integrity.
See where the bracket that's part of the intake comes off the top. That corner of the intake hits the bracket

Hack it. If it bends, get another one from the stealership. You might be able to fab up a custom one with a little sheet metal and some creativity.
Only thing I don't like is that you have to put some junk on that work of art.
Painting the bracket silver might make it blend in a little better.

stealership... i guess that's what i would call my parts department 
even as an employee
i was gonna paint it silver cause it just looks like *** anyways. I'm just trying to avoid having the bracket break and stick the throttle wide open or something.
